The flagship 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon ratchets up the price and is based on 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from a selection of blocks in the estate vineyard. Brought up in 75% new oak, its ruby/purple hue is followed by a gorgeous perfume of spiced red and black currants, dried flowers, spicy wood, and graphite. The oak is better integrated here, and it's medium to full-bodied, with a pure, elegant mouthfeel, beautiful tannins, and a great finish. This impeccably made, balanced beauty will evolve gracefully for 15-20 years.

Tasted as a barrel sample, the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon already offers power, focus and purity with an oak-driven freshness, divine spiciness and a rocky graphite essence in the glass. Medium to full-bodied, the wine features flavors of juicy dark cherry, black plum and spiced blackberries along with succulent tannins over the mid-palate. The wine reveals layers of complexity that somersault through the long-lingering finish.
