Sagebreaker Red 2021

Spicy red and black fruits, dried flowers, sage, and lead pencil notes all emerge from the 2021 Sagebreaker Bordeaux Blend, a plush, medium to full-bodied, nicely oaked red that has fine, polished tannins, terrific balance, and a great finish. It needs 2-3 years to integrate its oak, but the overall balance and purity are exceptional. The blend is 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot, and it was raised all in new oak.
