Piolet How Its Going Syrah 2022

The 2022 Syrah How It’s Going Wallula Vineyard is bursting with intense aromas of blueberry candy, cassis, violet, mint and tar. The full-bodied palate is bright and seamless with powdery tannins and a very long, perfumed finish. It opens dramatically over time and will benefit from several years in the cellar.

From a remote vineyard site where the tiny berries build up a thick skin from the wind, the 2022 Syrah How It's Going is ripe and sweetly full-bodied, while also highly aromatic in lavender. Plush and lengthy, it has hints of black pepper that punctuate dark rich berry fruit, the tannins firmly well-integrated and the wine built for 5-7 years of further aging.
