From black and reddish slate and quartzite soils at up to 590 meters above sea level, the 2023 Ried Sausaler Schlössl Sauvignon Blanc is deep, intense and mineral as well as fruity on the nose that is reminiscent of passion fruits and crushed salts. Round, lush, refined and elegant on the palate, this is a full-bodied, intense and textural wine that is seriously structured by fine tannins and sustainable salinity and is expressive and long. 13% stated alcohol.
