Oregon has made a name for Pinot Gris in recent decades, but Washington State is coming on strong. Some great wines hail from the Ancient Lakes and Horse Heaven Hills appellations in the Columbia Valley and there are also some very promising examples coming from Puget Sound in Western Washington as well.
