there are a multitude of various grapes grown in South Africa that may seem uncommon to many. Tinta Barocca, Cinsault, Grenache and Mourvedre to name a few. There is also a heritage of producing blends from what the land provides, resulting in many delicious 'field blends' as well as traditional Rhone style wines and even Italian style blends.
