From the Quintessence vineyard on Red Mountain, the 2020 Lonely Heart Cabernet Sauvignon boasts a captivating profile with spiced blueberry compote, dusty purple flowers, cedar and hints of pipe tobacco and dark chocolate. Full-bodied and generously layered, this wine promises longevity with a firm tannic edge, allowing it to age gracefully until the end of the next decade. Showcasing power, elegance and focus, it delivers a long and complex finish that has me daydreaming of fire-roasted meats from the grill. The Cabernet spent 21 months in 92% new French oak. Only 328 cases were made.
