In 2005 Hakan Kavur planted 58,000 vines on 104 acres, mainly of Merlot (78%), with the remainder being Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon on the Gallipoli Peninsula, in the Thracian part of Turkey.
Gali wine is made with minimal manipulation, both in the vineyard and at the winery. Gali 2010 has a balanced structure, with intense black fruits and acidity giving lots of depth to the wine along with a long finish.
