Bainbridge - Bourbon - Washington State
"Named after Bainbridge Island's infamous 1860s era Whiskey Forty Saloon, our first bourbon weighs in at a full Bottled in Bond 100 Proof and has an organic mash bill of 60% heirloom corn, 25% old variety triticale (a rye-wheat hybrid) and 15% soft white wheat, all grown right here in Washington state.
Our Whiskey Forty Saloon bourbon has been aged for 5 1/2 years in prime new No. 3 char 53-gallon American white oak barrels. This whiskey has delicious notes of rye and corn, with flavors of cherry, vanilla, citrus and caramel, plus just a lick of fresh char.
