Avennia Le Corbeau Horse Heaven Hills Red 2015

First made in 2014 and always from a single, one-acre parcel of Syrah vines, the 2015 Le Corbeau (from Discovery Vineyard) sees a touch of whole cluster and is brought up in a mix of puncheon and barrels. The idea here is a terroir-driven cuvee and there are just 150 cases made. Blackberry, currant, crushed rocks and charred meats all give way to a medium to full-bodied, plush, pure and elegant red that has tons of charm.
